We’re already in the final days of Ramadan – colour me shocked and appalled! I don’t know about you, but I’m finding it quite bittersweet; the thought of the month ending is really sad yet the days do feel slightly tougher. (Let’s not even discuss how quickly suhoor time disappears each day!)
So here’s a little reminder to keep going and keep pushing – this last stretch is where ALL the blessings lie for the taking. There’s still time to get closer to Allah and seek His Forgiveness, especially as the last nights are where Laylatul Qadr is. One night that is better than a thousand months, where all your past sins are forgiven and countless other mind-boggling blessings.
Keep making them duas, especially the classic:
اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي
‘Oh Allah You are the Forgiver, You love to forgive, so forgive me’
A dua that Prophet (saw) encouraged us to make as often as possible in seeking Laylatul Qadr.
It’s also a time for reflection, and getting closer to Allah. No other time does it feel like Allah is within reach, and that anything is possible than in these days. So continue to ask Him all your heart’s desires! Here’s another excellent dua from the Quran to add to your list:
ربِّ زِدْنِي عِلْماً
‘Oh my Lord, increase me in knowledge’
What are your favourite go-to duas? And how have you been finding the last days of Ramadan?
That’s all for now!
